Poplar Creek Resources Inc. Announces Signing of Memorandum of Understanding With Norwegian Oil Sands Inc

Poplar Creek Resources Inc. (PCK) (TSX VENTURE:PCK) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Norwegian Oil Sands Corp. whereby PCK, subject to certain conditions set forth in the MOU, has the right to earn a 50% interest in 31 sections of contiguous Oil Sand Leases owned by NOS.
The press release is quoted as saying:
The Oil Sand Leases are located in the Chard Area (Townships 79 & 80 Range 6 W4M) and are in proximity of the Christina Lake Project and the Surmont Commercial SAGD project along with other commercial projects in the Athabasca Oil Sands Area.
