WestFire Energy Ltd. (TSX:WFE) announced the results of the independent evaluation of the Company’s reserves for the year ended December 31, 2009 by GLJ Petroleum Consultants Ltd. and the independent evaluation of the Company’s undeveloped land holdings as at December 31, 2009 by Independent Land Inc.

WestFire also announces that Mr. Paul Colborne has resigned from the board of directors of the Company in order to focus on his other business ventures.
