Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: EEP) reported that the Phase 6 expansion of its North Dakota crude oil system is complete and was placed into service Jan. 1.

The news release is quoted as saying:

The $147 million Phase 6 project adds 40,000 bpd of capacity from the western end of the system to Minot, N.D., and 51,000 bpd of capacity from Minot to Clearbrook, Minn., where the North Dakota system interconnects with the Enbridge Lakehead mainline system and the Minnesota Pipeline.
